Each log being produced from select naturally cured, dead-standing Lodgepole Pine. This style of log has proven itself over time for it's tolerance to warp, better settling characteristics, faster shedding of water, and strong resistance to the climatic extremes presented by Mother Nature. Our cope-style process also seals tightly and allows us to cut and use longer logs in the overall design of your log home.

Generally, Less Than 18% Moisture Content
Why is this important? Because we virtually minimize the problem of warp, your home will settle more consistently allowing us to cut straighter and longer wall logs for adding to its aesthetic beauty. That's why we refuse to use "green", or freshly cut logs, and a major reason we do not mix species! Instead, we use only naturally cured, dead standing Lodgepole Pine. Known for its long-lasting beauty and workability, it simply has no equal! It is our first choice for producing beautiful log homes. Additionally, Lodgepole Pine (a northern species) is more tightly grained since northern climates have a shorter growing season. This produces more strength and long-term durability in the wood than can be found in faster growing species elsewhere. Your log home and its beauty will stand as proof of this natural strength.

Depending on when your order is placed, your log home plan is scheduled directly "in line" for production. In fairness to all customers, we operate on a first come, first served basis.
